Elon Musk thinks we are in a simulation
Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and Space X, is famously one of the biggest proponents of simulation theory and is considered by many to be its poster child.
Musk was interviewed by Joe Rogan in 2018 in what is considered to be his most noteworthy podcast of all time (episode 1169).
In the interview, Musk discusses simulation theory in greater depth, again reaffirming the likelihood that reality is simulated. Rogan entertains the idea that we may be in base reality and leading up to a simulation-creating event, but Musk’s arguments suggest something entirely to the contrary.
Musk uses the analogy of films and video games, suggesting that a base-reality, or what lies ‘above’ our dimension/reality, may be significantly more boring, which is why simulations were created in the first place. Musk also supports the idea of a multi-verse, suggesting that many different simulated realities may be running in tandem.
Musk has stated that the possibility of us being in a base reality is likely 1 in billions. Make of the interview what you will.
