Are we trapped on Prison Planet?

A theory often touted on Reddit which is somewhat disconcerting is the idea that our simulated existence may have more nefarious undertones. It is called the Prison Planet hypothesis. Let’s dig in.

Without trying to be a Debbie Downer, this article risks being pretty depressing. The Prison Planet hypothesis has been around for a long time and may have its roots in Gnostic tradition. The idea of the Demiurge and the Archons is something we have talked about before and it’s these entities that are said to be behind our reality and existence on Earth.

In Hermeticism you often hear the term ‘as above, so below’ and in this context it’s often thought that our 3D reality, or Earth, is somewhat of an initiation where the outer world reflects the inner cage of the mind.

David Icke is often credited with popularizing the term Prison Planet, a character known for his flamboyant and eccentric thinking. He often discusses a Saturn-Moon matrix (which keeps us trapped in a false reality) and the only escape is through conscious awakening and seeing through the illusion, something we so often talk about.

One of my favorite authors, Carlos Castaneda, in his teachings with Don Juan, learned of an entity which feeds off of low vibrational human energies in The Active Side of Infinity. In esoteric communities, this is known as loosh. Don Juan described them as ‘predators from the depths of the cosmos‘, inorganic entities that farm humans in the same way as we may treat animals.

These beings or inorganic entities are often cited as being hyper-dimensional and may exist on a higher plane. It is also thought that reincarnation is part of this cycle, just like a farm, to keep the entities fed. Don Juan chillingly said ‘they gave us their minds’, something I so often think could align with an artificial intelligence, just like depicted in the Matrix, where we are batteries for a much higher machine intelligence. Our minds also function just like computers (some less virus-ridden than others).

The idea is that our simulated reality is programmed to keep us trapped in what feels like a washing machine. These constant ups and downs evoke emotional reactions, specifically lower-vibrational ones like fear, to keep the entities satisfied.

The recent popular show Severance on Apple TV could represent this. The innie loses all memories of his external life, just like the reincarnation cycle, and the parent company Lumon could be seen as those monitoring and harvesting their employees just like the Archons. Of course the innies eventually feel miserable and desperate, but have no easy way out. Maybe their work is also a false purpose and their Gods, the founders, false prophets. It definitely makes for an interesting analogy.

We will try to come back with a more positive perspective with Earth being akin to a soul school, but we will leave you with the video below if you want to dig deeper into this controversial topic.
